Who Am I

Hi! I'm Null - nice to meet you!

My mission is to explain and motivate the "why" in subjects such as mathematics, programming and computer science, music theory and composition, etc. These subjects are at their heart quite creative arts, and a deeper understanding of the language allows you to speak it better, instead of memorizing and following procedures without justification. I accomplish this by taking apart examples, employing visual and intuitive explanations, and justifying the need for abstractions. I pride myself on attention to detail, patience, and inclusivity, and I am open and accepting of every kind of learner.

I have a degree in Computer Science from the Mathematics department of the University of Waterloo, and I work in the video game industry with a focus on software development, as well as music composition and production, and I have many mathematical and musical side projects.
